The City of Austin Economic Development Department is currently engaging in discussions with NXP Semiconductors N.V., a prominent semiconductor manufacturer headquartered in the Netherlands, to improve its semiconductor chip manufacturing operations in Austin. Supported by the Chapter 380 Economic Development award, NXP's investment has the potential to innovate and grow the local economy. To ensure an inclusive and collaborative decision-making process, Austinites are encouraged to share their feedback, ideas, and concerns regarding the incentive project.
