The City of Austin and Texas Workforce Commission will host the 2024 Fair Housing Conference. The Fair Housing Conference brings together leading policymakers, practitioners, advocates, and the public to share ideas and discuss current fair housing issues. This annual event allows our community to reflect on the passage of the Fair Housing Act.
Please register for this year's conference by April 15.

This year's Fair Housing Conference will be hosted on April 16 & 17 at the Norris Conference Center. We hope you'll join us! Online registration is now closed. Walk-ins are welcome.
About the 2024 Fair Housing Conference
The Fair Housing Conference will be hosted on April 16 - 17, 2024 at Norris Conference Center. The program will start at 8:00 a.m. with an opening and welcome followed by a pre-conference tour of Colony Park. The Colony Park Sustainable Community Bus Tour is an opportunity for conference attendees to tour the site of the future Colony Park Sustainable Community and existing adjacent neighborhoods in preparation for the construction of the upcoming community development. On April 17, 2024, there will be a full day of workshops and panels 8 – 7 p.m. The day will conclude with a Resource Hub hosted by the City of Austin Housing Department from 3 – 7 p.m.

The City of Austin, Office of Civil Rights (OCR) enforces local fair employment and fair housing ordinances under contract with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). In alignment with this commitment, the Office of Civil Rights promotes fair employment and fair housing with local outreach and events.
