About the 2024 Fair Housing Conference

The Fair Housing Conference will be hosted on April 16 - 17, 2024 at Norris Conference Center. The program will start at 8:00 a.m. with an opening and welcome followed by a pre-conference tour of Colony Park. The Colony Park Sustainable Community Bus Tour is an opportunity for conference attendees to tour the site of the future Colony Park Sustainable Community and existing adjacent neighborhoods in preparation for the construction of the upcoming community development. On April 17, 2024, there will be a full day of workshops and panels 8 – 7 p.m. The day will conclude with a Resource Hub hosted by the City of Austin Housing Department from 3 – 7 p.m.

The City of Austin, Office of Civil Rights (OCR) enforces local fair employment and fair housing ordinances under contract with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
